Seismic Refraction

Our seismic refraction services provide in-depth analysis of subsurface velocity profiles, enabling precise mapping of bedrock, fault zones, and overburden layers. We deploy the Abem Terraloc Pro 2 system, integrated with Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) capabilities, to acquire high-quality seismic data efficiently and accurately across various site conditions. This advanced equipment enables us to not only perform traditional seismic refraction surveys but also extend analyses to surface wave studies, enhancing the understanding of near-surface stiffness and dynamic soil properties.

By combining seismic refraction with MASW techniques, we are able to deliver a more comprehensive geophysical characterization—capturing both compressional and shear wave velocities critical for evaluating subsurface integrity. Our approach ensures that clients receive reliable, multi-faceted data for infrastructure design, site classification, seismic hazard assessments, and overall project feasibility studies.
